Day 1AIRPORT / KANDY

Upon arrival at the airport / or pre requested location in Colombo where you will meet your English-speaking guide. From there, you will be traveling to Kandy, which is a city located in the central province of Sri Lanka. Kandy is a popular tourist destination known for its rich cultural heritage, lush green hills, and scenic beauty. Some of the top attractions in Kandy include the Temple of the Tooth, which houses the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha, the Kandy Lake, the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, and the Royal Palace of Kandy. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 2KANDY

After breakfast at your hotel in Kandy, you will proceed to the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya. The gardens are located on the banks of the Mahaweli River and are known for their stunning collection of orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and other flora. After exploring the gardens, you will visit the Temple of the Tooth, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world. The temple is said to house the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha and is located in a valley surrounded by rings of mountains. Later in the evening, you will enjoy a cultural show of traditional dancers, which is a great opportunity to witness Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage and traditional dance forms. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 3KANDY / NUWARA ELIYA

After breakfast at your hotel in Kandy, you will proceed to Nuwara Eliya via Ramboda Falls. Ramboda Falls is a beautiful waterfall located on the Pussellawa-Kandy road and is a popular stop for tourists. On the way to Nuwara Eliya, you will also visit the Labukale Tea Factory, where you can learn about the tea production process and sample some of the world-famous Ceylon tea. After visiting the tea factory, you will continue your journey to Nuwara Eliya, which is a hill station located in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya is known for its cool climate, scenic beauty, and colonial-era architecture, and is often referred to as “Little England” due to its colonial influence. In the evening, you will take a nice walk by the Gregory Lake, which is a popular spot for boating and picnics. The lake is surrounded by scenic hills and is a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4MOON PLAINS / HAGGALA BOTANICAL GARDEN

Early morning Excursion Moon’s Plains, also known as “Sandatanne,” with a packed breakfast. Moon’s Plains is a beautiful grassland plateau located at an elevation of over 2,000 meters above sea level and offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. You can enjoy a 360-degree view from the viewpoint while having your packed breakfast. After the excursion, you will visit the Haggala Botanical Garden, which is a picturesque garden located at the foot of the Hakgala Mountain range. The garden is home to a wide variety of plants, including many exotic species, and is known for its beautiful rose garden. In the garden, you can have your lunch under the big trees and then take a relaxing walk to explore the beautiful surroundings. After the visit to Haggala Botanical Garden, you will return to your hotel in Nuwara Eliya, where you will stay overnight.

Day 5NUWARA ELIYA / ELLA

After breakfast at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya, you will proceed to Nanu Oya train station to conduct a train journey to Ella. The train journey from Nanu Oya to Ella is considered one of the most scenic train rides in the world as it passes through stunning mountain ranges, lush tea plantations, and cascading waterfalls. During the train journey, you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the surroundings while relaxing in the comfort of the train. It’s a great opportunity to see the natural beauty of Sri Lanka and experience the local way of life. After the train journey, you will arrive in Ella, which is a small town located in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. Ella is known for its stunning natural beauty, including rolling hills, waterfalls, and tea plantations. Little Adam’s Peak – A relatively easy hike that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and tea plantations. Nine Arch Bridge – A beautiful arched bridge built during the British colonial period, surrounded by lush green tea fields. Ella Rock – A challenging but rewarding hike that takes you through beautiful forests, tea plantations, and offers stunning panoramic views from the top. Ravana Falls – A picturesque waterfall located in the outskirts of Ella. Yoga and meditation – Ella is known for its serene and tranquil surroundings, making it an ideal place to practice yoga and meditation. There are many other exciting activities to do in Ella, depending on your interests and preferences. Day 6ELLA/ NEGOMBO

After breakfast in Ella, you will proceed to Negombo. Negombo is a popular beach destination in Sri Lanka, known for its beautiful sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. Once you arrive in Negombo, you can spend the day at leisure, relaxing on the soft sandy beaches, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. You can also indulge in some water sports activities. In the evening, you will return to your hotel to prepare for your journey back home. Overnight stay in Negombo.

Day 7NEGOMBO/ AIRPORT

After having breakfast at your hotel in Negombo, it will be time for you to proceed to the airport for your flight back home. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some time to explore the city of Negombo or nearby attractions before departing to the airport. If time permits, you can visit the Negombo Fish Market, which is a bustling market that sells a wide variety of seafood. You can also take a stroll along the beautiful Negombo Beach or explore the town’s many shops and cafes.
